THE KONDI METHOD ©
The Kondi Method is a hybrid fitness methodology created by Lacey Kondi. It combines the most effective techniques from Callanetics ©, Pilates, Suspension Training (TRX ©), Resistance Bands and H.I.I.T. to create a one of kind, innovative fitness experience that will tighten and tone the body, lengthen and strengthen the muscles and burn fat all in one workout.
Each class at Kondi Fitness uniquely blends elements of these techniques to help each clients achieve their personal fitness goals.
Created in the 1980’s by classic ballet dancer, Callan Pinckney, Callanetics uses small controlled movements (pulses) to improve muscle tone, build strength and properly align the body.
Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates and is one of the most well known fitness systems in the world. Pilates continues to grow and evolve with addition of props, equipment and machines for very effective, low impact workouts.
TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It was created by U.S. Navy SEAL Randy Hetrick.
Used in stregth training and Pilates, resistance bands can help you target specific muscles, assist in range of motion and help increase and decrease the degree of difficulty in certain exercises.
H.I.I.T. alternates between short periods of intense effort (sprints) and periods of low intensity (recovery). H.I.I.T targets stored body fat and burns calories at a high rate even hours after the workout is completed.
